FOR EVENT ORGANIZERS
Meet your speaker.
Two biography lengths, a professional photograph, and everything in one place.
Short biography
Heather Presley-Cowen is a housing systems strategist and inventor of the H.O.M.E. Method. Her work brings together markets, capital, production, and community leadership to help communities move from housing plans to housing production. Drawing on experience in local government and housing finance, she helps leaders see the connections behind housing challenges and explore how coordinated local systems can create more housing opportunity.
Extended biography
Heather Presley-Cowen is a housing systems strategist and inventor of the H.O.M.E. Method, a six-step framework for helping communities move from housing plans to housing production. Her work began with a commitment to housing opportunity and developed through years in local government, federal housing resources, and complex development financing.
As a capital stacker, Heather learned to bring unconventional financing solutions together. That experience led to a wider question: how could communities build the capacity to produce housing repeatedly, rather than solve each project on its own?
Today, her work connects the H.O.M.E. Method, Club 720, Mission BUILD, HOME Intelligence, Housing Factories, and an emerging community of local Operators. Her presentations invite public, private, and nonprofit leaders to understand the relationships among household demand, payment, production, and absorption—and to consider how a coordinated system can turn local housing potential into practical opportunities.
