Housing as Infrastructure

Home is where the heart is…literally! Housing is the epicenter of a community’s circulation system. Water lines, sewer lines, streets, road and alleys (above- and below-ground infrastructure) are like the arteries of a community. Just as arteries carry blood to the heart, so does our infrastructure, provide a means to delivering essential services to the life blood of every community--the people who live, work and play there. Without housing, infrastructure is underutilized at best.
